2MSP 2MASS Point Source Catalog, 2000. On-line version via VizieR.
2MSP * Standard deviation 0.18 arcsec. There are far fewer problems with
2MSP the point source positions than there are with the extended source
2MSP positions.
2MSP = Cat. II/246
2MSX 2MASS Extended Source Catalog, 2003. (Some positions from the 1st or
2MSX 2nd Incremental Releases, 1999 and 2000, via NED).
2MSX * Standard deviation 0.30 arcsec, but much larger accidental errors can
2MSX occur in the Incremental Releases. I checked all of these before
2MSX entering them here. The problems (due to edge-of-scan effects) are
2MSX largely overcome in the Full-Sky release of 2003, but some remain.
