Beginning of ReadMe : J/BaltA/10/319 Vilnius photometry in NGC 1499 (Straizys+, 2001) ================================================================================ Photometric investigation of the California nebula region: catalogs Straizys V., Cernis K., Bartasiute S. <Baltic Astronomy, 10, 319-347 (2001)> =2001BaltA..10..319S ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: H II regions ; Photometry, Vilnius Keywords: methods: observational - stars: fundamental parameters - interstellar medium: dust, extinction - techniques: photometric: Vilnius photometric system - nebulae: individual: California Nebula or NGC 1499 Abstract: Vilnius seven-color photometry has been obtained for 238 stars down to 13th mag in the area of the California Nebula in Perseus. For nearly all of the stars photometric spectral classes, luminosity classes, absolute magnitudes, interstellar reddenings, extinctions and distances are determined. The present paper contains the results of photometry and the parameters of the stars.
