It may appear convenient to start the various query modes with a choice in the main menu. If the group shown in Figure 5.1 is included in the .openwin-menu the menu item "Database" will appear in the main menu and a submenu will offer the five choices: Command mode, Menu mode, Prompt mode, GUI mode and NCSA Mosaic BDA front page.
Of course the action should be put on a single line, which is not possible here.
