IAU COMMISSION 27 UNPUBLISHED DATA FILE 115 3 pages, including cover sheet 1983 March Photoelectric Observations of HR 5960 The enclosed observations and resulting period search analysis are described in: "HR 5960: New Observations and Period Search", David L. DuPuy and L. G. Burgoyne, Pub. Ast. Soc. Pac. 95, in press. Observations of HR 5960 were obtained on nine nights. Differential observations were ob- tained with the comparison SAO 029722. The original com- parison star (SAO 029726) was found to be variable after the first night's observations. Hence the first night's results (2/3 June 1980) are of limited usefulness and are not included here. The data were still relatively noisy, and were smoothed by eye. Evenly spaced points were then read from the smoothed data, and the results are tabulated on the enclosed sheets. The format of the tables is as follows. The data are listed by night, beginning with 3/4 June 1980. Column 1 is t1, column 2 is ml, column 3 is t2, .... The times of obser- vation are given in UT days. Add 2444394d to the tabulated times to obtain Julian Day. The sense of the observations is variable minus comparison. David L.
