ADC_Keywords: Galaxy catalogs ; Radial velocities ; Cross identifications Description: The present edition unifies two parts of Catalogue of interacting galaxies by B.A. Vorontsov-Velyaminov (1959VV....C......0V, 1970, 1977A&AS...28....1V). It contains 852 known interacting VV-systems and 1162 new objects taken from the comments on the galaxies in Morphological catalogues of galaxies by Vorotsov-Velyaminov et al. (1962, 1963, 1964, 1968, 1974, Cats. VII/62, VII/100) with numbers from VV853 to VV2014. The classification of interacting galaxies is given in accord with the suggestion s of Vorotsov-Velyaminov. The catalogue contains new information for the galaxies included taken from the NEDA-NASA/IPAC extragalactic data base. File Summary:

For each type we have introduced the conventional designations given below: HII-regions: H - large inner subsystems, the galaxies with vast HII-regions, M51 type - the satellite on the spiral branch of primary component: M - one satellite MM - two satellites on the spirals MMM - satellite lies on the bridge connecting the components Nests: N - three or more members in a tight group, NN - disrupted nest, NNN - separated triples, NNNP - triples with a tight pair, NPNP - the pair of tight pairs, NP - nest with clear pair, Ch - chain. Pairs: PC - pair of coalescents, b - bridge PK - pair in contact, t - tail PD - distant pair. df - disruption of the facade Pseudo-Rings: R - a ring without a nucleus together the non-elliptic galaxy "Comets": K - comet-like single galaxy, Enigmatic En including: Ent - a single galaxy with a tail, Enf - a single with breaking of inner structure, Enat - not tidal phenomena. Note (6): Note on other name: [,] VV 415 is associated to MCG-07-26-001,MCG-07-26-002,MCG-07-26-003 [=] VV 225 is identified to VV 630 in the original table, but VV 225 = VV 225a and VV 630 = VV 225b in Simbad
