It is the net time, in # seconds, during which the detectors gathered data. #Note (3): These columns give the field-averaged background, in # counts/square pixel, for the soft (0.16-0.8 keV), hard (0.8-3.5 keV), # and broad (0.16-3.5 keV) bands. The background has been obtained from # an annulus between 8 and 15 arcminutes about the target center. #Note (4): This column gives the column density of neutral hydrogen in # atoms per cm^2^, integrated along the line of sight through our Galaxy # in the direction of the field center of the observation. Specified in # exponential notation, 'nH' values are obtained from sky surveys of # neutral hydrogen using 21 cm radio observations. The data are from the # Bell Lab survey of Stark et al., private communication. #Note (5): These columns give the conversion factor from count rate # (cts/sec) to fluxes (ergs/cm**2/sec) for the soft, hard, and broad # bands. #Note (6): These quantities describe the relative contributions of the two # template background maps in the background map generated for the # image. The DSMAP template is generated by summing several deep survey # exposures. In constructing the image background map, the DSMAP # template is normalized by the ratio of image livetime to DSMAP # livetime. This normalization factor, 'alpha', is the same for all # energy bands. The BEMAP template is generated by summing several # exposures of the bright earth. In constructing the image background # map, the BEMAP template is normalized so that the total counts in the # image (with sources subtracted) and the total counts in the sum of the # normalized DSMAP and BEMAP are the same. The BEMAP normalization # factors, 'sbeta', 'hbeta', and 'bbeta', thus represent the ratio of # BEMAP counts in the image to counts in the BEMAP template. They differ # in the three energy bands. For more information on the construction of # the image background map from the DSMAP and BEMAP templates, see # Primini, et al. 1991ApJ...374..440P. #Note (7): This column contains the time-averaged gain of the instrument # for the observation. #------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I| | | | | | R R R D D D| | | | | | | | | | seqno| ontime| ltime| sfbk| hfbk| bfbk|Ah Am As Ed Em Es| nroll| nH| sr2f| hr2f| br2f|alpha| sbeta| hbeta| bbeta| bal -----|--------|--------|-----|-----|-----|------------------|-------|--------|---------|---------|---------|-----|----------|----------|----------|------ 27|47531.15|45839.64|0.247|0.180|0.427|14 10 00 +73 00 00| 146.90|1.900e+2|2.380e-11|3.428e-11|3.403e-11|0.165| 1.386e-03|-1.254e-04| 1.006e-03|12.629 30|77225.13|74441.50|0.380|0.303|0.691|21 10 00 -68 00 00| -75.27|3.000e+2|2.380e-11|3.568e-11|3.610e-11|0.268| 2.639e-03| 3.950e-03| 2.969e-03|13.981 31|45083.78|43652.73|0.135|0.174|0.308|01 06 00 -04 00 00| 115.68|3.590e+2|2.380e-11|3.724e-11|3.724e-11|0.157|-8.557e-04| 4.981e-04|-5.150e-04|18.771 3557|29442.20|28412.02|0.091|0.097|0.185|04 39 00 -16 30 00| 116.00|4.540e+2|2.380e-11|3.639e-11|3.864e-11|0.102|-8.220e-04|-6.231e-04|-7.719e-04|13.168 3558|33966.68|32767.93|0.104|0.115|0.221|04 38 39 -16 34 59| 116.00|4.540e+2|2.380e-11|3.649e-11|3.878e-11|0.118|-9.953e-04|-7.760e-04|-9.401e-04|12.820 3670|44671.95|43173.48|0.193|0.179|0.372|17 10 37 +71 13 01|-100.49|4.080e+2|2.380e-11|3.719e-11|3.814e-11|0.155| 5.050e-04| 1.774e-03| 8.244e-04|16.484 5390|31779.17|30711.82|0.138|0.117|0.254|12 54 17 +35 54 00| 72.36|1.270e+2|2.380e-11|3.468e-11|3.181e-11|0.111| 7.892e-04| 4.756e-04| 7.103e-04|15.725 5391|41533.07|40119.19|0.191|0.146|0.336|12 57 44 +35 54 00| 69.55|1.200e+2|2.380e-11|3.446e-11|3.164e-11|0.144| 1.213e-03|-8.819e-05| 8.853e-04|15.547 5392|40073.88|38714.37|0.197|0.145|0.339|13 01 12 +35 54 00| 68.29|1.140e+2|2.380e-11|3.426e-11|3.140e-11|0.139| 1.375e-03| 4.462e-04| 1.142e-03|15.600 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
