(Rufener 1988) ================================================================================ Catalogue of Stars Measured in the Geneva Observatory Photometric System, 4th edition Rufener F. <Geneva Observatory (1988)> ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Photometry, Geneva Description: This catalog is a successor to an earlier edition (Rufener 1981). It is a compilation of photoelectric measurements made in the Geneva Observatory seven-color photometric system. This edition contains data for 29397 stars. Observations on the Geneva system are made through three wide- and four intermediate-band filters extending from about 350 to 570 nm. The indices of the system measure such parameters as effective temperature, luminosity, blocking by metallic lines, the size of the Balmer discontinuity, and the importance of line blocking in the 380-480-nm wavelength range. Taken together, the photometric indices allow a three-dimensional representation of stars in the A0 to G5 spectral range. Additional details can be found in Golay (1973). The catalog includes star identifications (HR, HD, DM); equatorial coordinates (B1950.0); the normalized magnitudes of the system (U, V, B1, B2, V1, G); the color indices (B1-B2, B2-V1, V1-G); the parameters d, delta, g, m2; and the V magnitude on the UBV system. The numbers of measurements and standard deviations are included separately for the colors and the V magnitude.
