Beginning of ReadMe : J/MNRAS/368/651 A3653 galaxies redshift catalogue (Pimbblet+, 2006) ================================================================================ The large peculiar velocity of the cD galaxy in Abell 3653. Pimbblet K.A., Roseboom I.G., Doyle M.T. <Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc., 368, 651-658 (2006)> =2006MNRAS.368..651P (SIMBAD/NED BibCode) ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Clusters, galaxy ; Redshifts Keywords: catalogues - surveys - galaxies: clusters: individual: Abell 3653 - galaxies: elliptical and lenticular, cD - galaxies: kinematics and dynamics Abstract: We present a catalogue of galaxies in Abell 3653 from observations made with the 2-degree field (2dF) spectrograph at the Anglo-Australian Telescope. Of the 391 objects observed, we find 111 are bona fide members of Abell 3653. Description: Our observations for this work come from 2dF spectroscopy. These observations are entirely performed in service mode on the Anglo-Australian Telescope (AAT),meaning that we have a mixture of gratings (300B and 270R), and physical conditions.
