Beginning of ReadMe : J/AJ/127/3456 Internal velocities in the Orion Nebula (Doi+, 2004) ================================================================================ Internal velocities in the Orion nebula: large radial velocity features. Doi T., O'Dell C.R., Hartigan P. <Astron. J., 127, 3456-3478 (2004)> =2004AJ....127.3456D ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Radial velocities ; Space velocities ; Stars, pre-main sequence Keywords: ISM: Herbig-Haro objects - ISM: individual (Orion Nebula) - ISM: jets and outflows - stars: winds, outflows Abstract: A map of high-velocity features in the 3'x5' central region of the Orion Nebula was created from slit spectra with a velocity resolution of 8km/s. Spatial velocities of 19 features belonging to 11 HH objects were obtained by combining these radial velocity data with existing proper motion data. Description: We observed the Orion Nebula with the echelle spectrograph attached at the f8 Cassegrain focus of the Mayall 4m telescope at KPNO on 2000 January 21, 23, 24, and October 7, 9, 2001 December 31, and 2002 January 2.
