This robust data set has been reduced and nightly catalogs compared to determine the photometric variability of the ensemble objects. Subsequent spectroscopic observations have confirmed a subset of the photometric variables as quasars, as previously reported. This paper reports on the details of the data reduction and analysis pipeline and presents multiple bandpass light curves for 198213 QUEST1 objects, along with global variability information and matched Sloan photometry. Description: Between 1999 February and 2000 April, the QUEST1 variability survey collected 69 drift scans of the same region of high Galactic latitude sky. The scans cover a strip of equatorial sky approximately 24 wide in declination, centered at DE=-1deg, running from RA=10h to 15h30m. All scans were taken with the 1m Schmidt telescope at the Llano del Hato Observatory, Venezuela, with the sequence of filters RBRV. Data were collected in three distinct observing seasons: 1999 February-March, 2000 February-March, and 2001 March-April.
