Beginning of ReadMe : J/A+A/427/23 14.3um survey in the Lockman Hole (Fadda+, 2004) ================================================================================ ISOCAM observations in the Lockman Hole. I. The 14.3 micron shallow survey: data reduction, catalogue, and optical identifications. Fadda D., Lari C., Rodighiero G., Franceschini A., Elbaz D., Cesarsky C. Perez-Fournon I. <Astron. Astrophys. 427, 23 (2004)> =2004A&A...427...23F ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Surveys ; Galaxies, IR Mission_Name: ISO Keywords: infrared: galaxies - surveys - catalogs Abstract: We present the image and catalogue of the 14.3mum hallow survey of 0.55 square degrees in the region of the Lockman Hole (10h 52m 03s, +57deg 21' 46", J2000). The data have been analyzed with the recent algorithm by Lari et al. (2001, Cat. J/MNRAS/325/1173) conceived to exploit ISO data in an optimal way, especially in the case of shallow surveys with low redundancy. Photometry has been accurately evaluated through extensive simulations and also the absolute calibration has been checked using a set of 21 stars detected at 14.3mum, optical, and near-IR bands. Description: The three images in fits format correspond to the flux map, coverage map and signal-to-noise ratio map of the mosaic combining all the images taken in the survey. The two tables contain the list of objects detected in the mosaic. Table 3 contains the list of highly reliable detections. Only a few false detections are expected in this list. Table 4 contains the list of faint sources. This list contains an high fraction of spurious sources and it is given only for the high interest in studying faint and possibly distant sources.
