J., 105, 2353, (1993)> =1993AJ....105.2353L ================================================================================ ADC_Keywords: Positional data ; Proper motions ; Fundamental catalog Description: The FK5 catalog was expanded from 1535 stars to include an additional 3117 stars which comprise the 'extension' to the new 'Basic' FK5, the revision of the FK4. For the basic FK5 a method of converting from the FK5 system to the FK4 system is provided in the catalog while for the Extension no algorithm was supplied. This catalog consists of two files. One file is the FK5 Extension placed at B1950.0 on the FK4 system. The second file is the FK5 Extension placed at the mean Epoch of place on the FK4 system.
