SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACT:

    We propose to  use ISOCAM  and  ISOPHOT to  observe  a  few hundred
of  the faintest IRAS extragalactic  sources  to investigate  the
cosmological evolution of  luminous  infrared galaxies,  to explore  the 
AGN-Starburst relationship at intermediate redshift,  and  to look  for 
protogalaxy  candidates.
