ADC_Keywords: Clusters, open ; Photometry, UBV ; Photometry, photographic ; Cross identifications Abstract: The study presents photoelectric photometry of stars in NGC 5822 on the UBVR and DDO systems. The BV data are employed to calibrate a photographic survey of the cluster, while UBV and DDO data are used to constrain the cluster reddening and metallicity. Taken in conjunction with previous photometric analysis, it is found that the cluster has a reddening of 0.15±0.015(pe) as defined for the stars at the turnoff, and a metallicity relative to the sun of -0.15±0.05(pe). Description: Table 1 and 5 have been combined into a single catalog of the stars observed in the region of NGC 5822. The cross-identification was done by B. Skiff, essentially with 2MASS (Cutry et al., Cat. II/246) and UCAC2 (Zacharias et al. 2004, Cat. I/289). The observations of NGC 5822 combines observations on photographic plates made between 1974 and 1977 at the Cerro-Tololo Observatory (CTIO), photoelectric UBV made at CTIO in 1975 (138 stars) and 1990 (29 stars), and DDO photometry in 1977 (13 stars).
