IV/20 Identifications of Metal-Deficient F-M Stars (Bartkevicius+ 1986)

Identification Catalogue of Metal Deficient F-M stars classified spectroscopically. Bartkevicius A., Bartkeviciene V.-D., Jodinskiene E. <Bull. Vilnius Obs. 76 (1986)> =1986VilOB..76...32B
ADC_Keywords: Stars, metal-deficient Description: The catalog provides identifications in a variety of astronomical catalogs of 1555 metal-deficient stars from the MDSP catalog of metal-deficient F-M stars classified spectroscopically (Bartkevicius 1980) and from its first supplement, MDSPS1 (Bartkevicius 1984, Cat. III/125). File Summary:

Note on n_RAs: values marked with 1 = position listed to 0.1min and 1arcmin accuracy. Note on n_Eq: the Original Equinox is coded as: 0 = 1950.0 1 = 1855.0 2 = 1875.0 3 = 1900.0 4 = 1925.0 5 = 1975.0 6 = 2000.0 Note on IDmain: this column containing a star designation was added at CDS from an interpretation of the coded identification. It was left blank for "anonymous" stars. Note (1): See the file "numsys.txt" for keys to the coded identifications, and file "srccats.txt" for the acronyms used for catalogues.

History: * December 2000, at CDS (Francois Ochsenbein): - file "data.dat": the original file supplied the position in the equinoxes 1950 (sexagesimal and radians), 1900, 1875 and 1855; only the sexagesimal 1950 position was kept. The column "IDmain" was added. - file "crossids.dat": the original file contained a record number, the ID1 and MDSP identifiers, another identifier, and the 1950 position. One identifier and the MDSP only were kept (the position and ID1 are contained in the "data.dat" file). References: Bartkevicius A. 1980, Bull. Vilnius Astron.
