Spectral types and UBV magnitudes of stars in the 30 Doradus complex Schild H., Testor G. < 92, 729 (1992); 130, 527 (1998) >
ADC_Keywords: Magellanic Clouds ; MK spectral classification; Photometry, UBV Keywords: Abstract: Photometric and spectroscopic observations are described for stars in four selected areas in the periphery of the 30 Doradus region. The areas are located at distances ranging from 7 to 20 arcmin from the central cluster. UBV magnitudes and spectral types for more than 250 stars are presented. A total of 70 new O stars is reported, most of which are located in the two inner regions. Photometric and spectroscopic data are given of the Wolf-Rayet stars in the surveyed fields. For WR stars in tight clusters, spatially resolved photometry is given. A carbon star is also identified. Description: File Summary:
