J/other/RAA/10.1 BATC photometry in A98 cluster (Zhang+, 2010)

Multicolor photometry of the galaxy cluster A98: substructures and star formation properties. Zhang L., Yuan Q.-R., Zhou X., Jiang Z.-J., Yang Y.-B., Ma J., Wu J.-H., Wu Z.-Y. <Res. Astron. Astrophys., 10, 1-21 (2010)> =2010RAA....10....1Z

Spectral energy distributions (SEDs) covering 15 intermediate bands are obtained for all sources detected down to V∼20mag in a field of 58'x58'. After star-galaxy separation with color-color diagrams, a photometric redshift technique is applied to the galaxy sample for further membership determination. The color-magnitude relation is taken as a further restriction of the early-type cluster galaxies. As a result, a list of 198 faint member galaxies is achieved. Based Description: From 1996 to 2006, we accumulated 37h in only 12 bands, from d to p, with the old CCD camera. In the last two years, exposures in the a, b, and c filters were completed with the new CCD camera. File Summary:
