ADC_Keywords: Stars, variable ; Abundances, peculiar ; Stars, atmospheres Keywords: stars: abundances - stars: atmospheres - stars: fundamental parameters - stars: individual (RR Lyr, DX Del, DH Peg, VY Ser) - stars: variables: other Abstract: In order to study how the conventional spectroscopic method based on the equivalent widths of the Fe I and Fe II lines effectively applies to determining the atmospheric parameters (Teff, logg, vt, [Fe/H]) of RR Lyrae variables and how accurately the abundances can be established from such constructed model atmospheres, we analyzed 15 high-dispersion spectrograms of RR Lyr, DX Del, DH Peg, and VY Ser taken at several different phases by using the HDS spectrograph of the Subaru Telescope, and examined the consistency of the resulting phase-to-phase abundances. Description: The file, ewidlist.dat, in which the equivalent widths data of the Fe I and Fe II lines measured from each of the 15 spectra for four stars (RR Lyr, DX Del, DH Peg, and VY Ser) are presented. Here, all measured data are given irrespective of whether or not they were actually used for the parameter determination. (Regarding the finally adopted lines for parameter determinations which remained after the rejection process of some inappropriate lines, see other tables.) Other files, each corresponding to each of the 15 spectra for four stars (RR Lyr, DX Del, DH Peg, and VY Ser), contain the adopted data of equivalent widths and the abundance results of the Fe I and Fe II lines corresponding to the finally converged solutions of the atmospheric parameters. Description of file: ewidlist.dat The data contained in this file are divided into two parts: atomic data of 220 Fe I/II lines and their equivalent widths measured on each of the 15 spectra of RR Lyr, DX Del, DH Peg, and VY Ser. All the atomic data were taken from the compilation of Kurucz and Bell (1995, Kurucz CD-ROM, No. 23 ). The meanings of these line data are mostly self-explanatory. Regarding the definition of the damping parameters (gammar, gammas, gammas) adopted here, see, for example, the caption in table 1 of Takeda (2003, Cat. J/A+A/402/343). When the equivalent widths were not (could not be) measured, zero values are assigned. Description of files: tabe2/*: The 7 characters "???????" of the file name indicates the spectrum label. The first four lines are the header part which includes the information concerning the final parameter solutions. !!!!!!! Remark: The quantity "xcur" in the first line is the differential metallicity (relative to the Sun) formally evaluated as A(Fe)-7.50. However, since we adopted A(Fe:Sun) = 7.60 as the standard solar abundance (cf. subsection 3.1), our final [Fe/H] is eventually related to this xcur as [Fe/H] = xcur - 0.1. !!!!!!! From the 5th line begins the actual data for each of the used Fe lines: line number, species code, wavelength, lower excitation potential, gf value, measured equivalent width, and the resulting Fe abundance corresponding to the final solution of Teff, log g, and vt. The Fe abundances are repeatedly listed twice in columns 7 and 8 with different signs for neutral and ionized species, such as [+A(FeI),-A(FeII)] in column 7 and [-A(FeI),+A(FeII)] in column 8, in order for the convenience of plotting the FeI and FeII data with different symbols.
