ADC_Keywords: X-ray sources ; Photometry, infrared ; Cross identifications ; Redshifts ; Surveys Keywords: catalogs; cosmology: observations; diffuse radiation; galaxies: active; surveys; X-rays: galaxies Abstract: We present X-ray source catalogs for the ∼7Ms exposure of the Chandra Deep Field-South (CDF-S), which covers a total area of 484.2arcmin2. Utilizing wavdetect for initial source detection and ACIS Extract for photometric extraction and significance assessment, we create a main source catalog containing 1008 sources that are detected in up to three X-ray bands: 0.5-7.0keV, 0.5-2.0keV, and 2-7keV. A supplementary source catalog is also provided, including 47 lower-significance sources that have bright (Ks≤23) near-infrared counterparts. We identify multiwavelength counterparts for 992 (98.4%) of the main-catalog sources, and we collect redshifts for 986 of these sources, including 653 spectroscopic redshifts and 333 photometric redshifts. Based on the X-ray and multiwavelength properties, we identify 711 active galactic nuclei (AGNs) from the main-catalog sources. Compared to the previous ∼4Ms CDF-S catalogs, 291 of the main-catalog sources are new detections. We have achieved unprecedented X-ray sensitivity with average flux limits over the central ∼1arcmin2 region of ∼1.9x10-17, 6.4x10-18, and 2.7x10-17erg/cm2/s in the three X-ray bands, respectively. We provide cumulative number-count measurements observing, for the first time, that normal galaxies start to dominate the X-ray source population at the faintest 0.5-2.0keV flux levels. The highest X-ray source density reaches ∼50500deg-2, and 47%±4% of these sources are AGNs (∼23900deg-2). Description: The 7Ms CDF-S contains 102 Chandra ACIS-I observations, with a total cleaned exposure time of 6.727Ms, taken in four separate epochs of time. The basic information on these observations is listed in Table 1. There were 48 recent observations acquired between 2014 June 9 and 2016 March 24, which constitute the last 3Ms of exposure of the 7Ms CDF-S. The first 1Ms of exposure consists of 11 observations taken between 1999 and 2000 (Giacconi+ 2002, J/ApJS/139/369; Rosati+ 2002ApJ...566..667R; Alexander+ 2003, J/AJ/126/539), the next 1Ms of exposure consists of 12 observations taken in 2007 (Luo+ 2008, J/ApJS/179/19), and another 2Ms of exposure includes 31 observations in 2010 (Xue+ 2011, J/ApJS/195/10). The total area covered by the 7Ms CDF-S is 484.2arcmin2. File Summary:

Note (1): Logarithm of binomial no-source probability, logPB, equals -99.0 when PB=0. The threshold for being included in the main catalog is PB<0.007. The threshold for being included in the supplemental catalog is 0.007≤PB<0.1, and bright (Ks≤23) TENIS counterparts. Note (2): Logarithm of the minimum WAVDETECT false-positive probability where values of -8, -7, -6, and -5 ranging from most significantly detected to least significantly detected. Note (3): For sources undetected in a given band, the source count column lists the 90% confidence-level upper limit on the source counts while the two associated uncertainty columns are set to -1.0 Note (4): Photometric notes on individual sources as follows: E = Sources covered by less than 20 of the 102 CDF-S observations; C = Sources in crowded regions; = Other sources have this column set to blank. Note (5): Primary counterpart catalog as follows: CANDELS = CANDELS + 3D-HST HST WFC3 F125W+F140W+F160W combined catalog, Skelton+ (2014, J/ApJS/214/24, <[SWM2014] {field} NNNNN> in Simbad); GOODS-S = GOODS-S HST version r2.0z z-band catalog, Giavalisco+ (2004, II/261, <GOODS JHHMMSS.ss+DDMMSS.s> in Simbad); GEMS = Galaxy Evolution from Morphologies and SEDs (GEMS) HST z-band catalog, Caldwell et al. Note (10): Band ratios for sources detected in either the soft band or the hard band but not both are the mode values from BEHR (not upper or lower limits but best-guess estimates) and the corresponding uncertainty columns were set to -1.000. Sources detected only in the full band have these columns set to -1.000. Note (11): Sources detected in either the soft band or the hard band but not both have their uncertainty columns set to -1.00. We adopted Γeff=1.4 for sources detected only in the full band, and the uncertainty columns are set to -1.00. Note (12): Negative values indicate 90% confidence-level upper limits on the fluxes which were derived from the upper limits on the source counts. Note (13): Intrinsic absorption column density estimated based on the deviation between the effective photon index and the assumed intrinsic photon index of 1.8. Sources which lack redshifts or are identified as stars have this column set to -1.00 Note (14): A letter S is added to the ID number if the matched source is from the supplementary catalog. Sources which lack 4Ms CDF-S counterparts have this column set to blank.
