J/AJ/140/379 Stellar associations in M51 (Kaleida+, 2010)

Mapping the recent star formation history of the disk of M51. Kaleida C., Scowen P.A. <Astron. J., 140, 379-389 (2010)> =2010AJ....140..379K

Starting with a sample of over 900 potential associations, we have produced color-magnitude and color-color diagrams for the 120 associations that were deemed to be single-aged. Description: The data sets used in this study were obtained with the HST ACS/WFC as part of HST program 10452, which was completed in 2005 January and became publicly available in 2005 April (Mutchler et al. 2005, BAAS, 37, 452). Note (1): Associations identified as [KS2010] JHHMMSS.ssss+DDMMSS.sss in Simbad. Note (2): Total integrated magnitude from a circular aperture of radius and central position as listed in the table. Note (3): This value will not include diffuse light from unresolved stars, and is thus a lower limit of the magnitude of the association. Note (4): Average radius of the association as determined by the average FWHM of the flux density distribution.
