J/AJ/131/1015 MAP observations of the position of Procyon (Gatewood+, 2006)

An Astrometric Study of Procyon. Gatewood G., Han I. <Astron. J., 131, 1015-1021 (2006)> =2006AJ....131.1015G
ADC_Keywords: Binaries, spectroscopic ; Stars, double and multiple ; Positional data Keywords: binaries: spectroscopic - binaries: visual - stars: individual (Procyon) Abstract: We report on the analysis of observations of Procyon obtained with the Multichannel Astrometric Photometer during the years 1986-2004. While the results significantly increase the precision of the estimated characteristics of the components of the system, they are generally in good agreement with the most recent studies. Description: Procyon was placed on the Multichannel Astrometric Photometer (MAP; Gatewood 1987) program in October of 1986 and remained there until the MAP observations were discontinued in 2004.
