ADC_Keywords: Stars, variable ; Photometry, UBVRI Keywords: Cepheids - distance scale - galaxies: distances and redshifts - galaxies: individual (NGC 300) - galaxies: stellar content Abstract: We present VI data, derive improved periods and mean magnitudes for the variables, and construct period-luminosity relations in the V, I, and the reddening-independent V-I Wesenheit bands using 58 Cepheid variables with periods between 11 and 90 days. Description: The data presented in this paper were collected with the Warsaw 1.3m telescope at Las Campanas Observatory and the 4m telescope at CTIO (Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory). Our observations started on 2002 October 5 and lasted until 2003 November 11.
