J/A+A/508/1331 CO maps of 3 galactic supernova remnants (Liszt, 2009)

CO J=1-0 observations of molecular gas interacting with galactic supernova remnants G5.4-1.2, G5.55+0.32 and G5.71-0.08. Liszt H.S. <Astron. Astrophys. 508, 1331 (2009)> =2009A&A...508.1331L
ADC_Keywords: Supernova remnants ; H II regions ; Carbon monoxide Keywords: ISM: clouds - ISM: molecules - HII regions Abstract: The field just West of the galactic supernova remnant W28 (l=6.4°, b=-0.2°) harbors 3 of 5 newly-discovered 1720 OH maser spots and two recently-discovered candidate supernova candidates (one of which is a gamma-ray source), as well as several compact and classical HII regions. The aims is to show the interaction of radio supernova remnants with ambient molecular gas in sky field just West of W28. Description: We analyze a datacube of CO J=1-0 emission having 1' and 1km/s resolution, made with on-the-fly mapping over the region 5°≤l≤6°, -1°≤b≤0.5° Objects: ---------------------------------------------------------- RA (2000) DE Designation(s) ---------------------------------------------------------- 18 02 06 -24 55 G5.4-1.2 = SNR G005.3-01.0 17 57 06 -24 00 G5.55+0.32 = [BGG2006] G5.55+0.32 17 58 48 -24 03 G5.71-0.08 = [BGG2006] G5.71-0.08 18 00 30.3 -24 03 58 G5.89-0.39 = Gal 5.88-0.39 ---------------------------------------------------------- File Summary:
