J/A+AS/121/369 UBVRI observations of active stars (Cutispoto, 1997)

Long-term monitoring of active stars. VI. UBV(RI)c observations collected in Sep-Oct 1990 Cutispoto G. <Astron. Astrophys. Suppl. Ser. 121, 369 (1997)> =1997A&AS..121..369C (SIMBAD/NED BibCode)

Significant evolution of the light curves, period variations and evidence for long-term variability of the global degree of spottedness are found. Some of the spectral classifications are discussed. These observations contribute to the establishment of a time-extended photometric database which can give important clues on topics such as the stability of the spotted areas, differential rotation, solar-like cycles and the correlation between inhomogeneities at different atmospheric levels. For a description of the UBV and (RI)c photometric systems, see e.g. General Catalog of Photometric Data GCPD/01 and GCPD/54 Objects: ------------------------------------------------ RA (2000) DE Designation(s) ------------------------------------------------ 00 53 04.8 -74 39 07 CF Tuc = HD 5303 01 22 19.0 -56 43 52 BC Phe = HD 8435 02 34 22.2 -43 47 33 CC Eri = HD 16157 04 58 18.2 -75 16 36 YY Men = HD 32918 17 17 25.6 -66 56 56 V824 Ara = HD 155555 18 53 05.6 -50 10 45 PZ Tel = HD 174429 20 45 08.3 -31 20 09 AU Mic = HD 197481 22 38 43.9 -20 37 12 FK Aqr = HD 214479 23 00 27.6 -33 44 34 TZ PsA = HD 217344 ------------------------------------------------ File Summary:
