Using the Parkes Galactic All-Sky Survey (GASS) of atomic hydrogen we explore the role of drag on the evolution of the so-called Leading Arm (LA). Description: The table represents a HI cloud catalogue of the Magellanic Cloud System's Leading Arm region. The catalogue is the result of a source finding algorithm applied on Parkes Galactic all-sky (GASS) data of that region. The considered size of the Leading Arm region in Magellanic Stream (MS) coordinates is: 0°<lMS<70°; -42.5°<bMS<42.5°. The considered Galactic standard of rest (GSR) velocity range is: -80km/s<vGSR<250km/s. The Leading Arm cloud catalog contains 449 spatial/kinetical separated emissions. File Summary:

Note (2): The Local Standard of Rest (LSR), the Galactic Standard of Rest (GSR) and the Local Group Standard of Rest (LGSR) velocities are defined from the heliocentric radial velocity by: v(LSR) = v(HEL)+9km/s*cos(l)*cos(b)+12km/s*sin(l)*cos(b)+7km/s*sin(b) v(GSR) = v(LSR)+220km/s*sin(l)*cos(b) v(LGSR) =v(GSR)-62km/s*cos(l)*cos(b)+40km/s*sin(l)*cos(b)-35km/s*sin(b) Note (5): This parameter is derived from higher moment analysis of the emission.
