J/A+A/459/679 RB photometry of LSBG in Coma (Adami+, 2006)

A deep wide survey of faint low surface brightness galaxies in the direction of the Coma cluster of galaxies. Adami C., Scheidegger R., Ulmer M., Durret F., Mazure A., West M.J., Conselice C.J., Gregg M., Kasun S., Pello R., Picat J.P. <Astron. Astrophys., 459, 679-692 (2006)> =2006A&A...459..679A

We analyzed deep B and R band CCD imaging obtained using the CFH12K camera at CFHT and found 735 fLSBs. The total B magnitudes, at the Coma cluster redshift, range from -13 to -9 with B central surface brightness as faint as 27mag/arcsec2. Description: The observations are described in Adami et al. (2006, Cat. J/A+A/451/1159 and we only reproduce the salient points in this section. The Coma field was observed in April 1999 and April 2000 with the Canada-France-Hawaii 3.6m telescope using the CFH12K camera. Images were acquired using B, V, R and I Johnson-like filters.
