On the incidence rate of first overtone Blazhko stars in the Large Magellanic Cloud. Nagy A., Kovacs G. <Astron. Astrophys., 454, 257-264 (2006)> =2006A&A...454..257N
ADC_Keywords: Stars, variable ; Magellanic Clouds Keywords: stars: variables: RR Lyrae - stars: fundamental parameters - galaxies: Magellanic Clouds Abstract: By using the full span of multicolor data on a representative sample of first overtone RR Lyrae stars in the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC), we revisit the problem of the incidence rate of the amplitude/phase-modulated (Blazhko) stars. Methods. Multicolor data, obtained by the MAssive Compact Halo Objects (MACHO) project, are utilized through a periodogram averaging method. Note (1): The sign of the modulation frequency fB is positive if A-<A+, and negative, if A->A+. For BL2 stars, fBL stands for the average of the two modulation frequencies. Note (2): Amplitudes are given in MACHO instrumental "b" magnitudes
