The grid covers effective temperatures Teff=3000...5000K, gravities logg=-0.5...+3.5, and metallicities [M/H]=+0.5...-4.0. Description: Table 2 contains synthetic broad-band photometric colors of late-type giants in the Johnson-Cousins-Glass photometric system. Colors are based on the synthetic spectra calculated with the PHOENIX stellar model atmosphere code. Photometric filter definitions used are those from Bessell (1990PASP..102.1181B) for the Johnson-Cousins BVRI bands, and from Bessell & Brett (1988PASP..100.1134B) for the Johnson-Glass JHKL bands.
