RASS-SDSS Galaxy Clusters Survey. I. The Catalog and the correlation of X-ray and optical properties. Popesso P., Bohringer H., Brinkmann J., Voges W., York D.G. <Astron. Astrophys. 423, 449 (2004)> =2004A&A...423..449P
ADC_Keywords: Clusters, galaxy ; X-ray sources ; Redshifts Keywords: galaxies: clusters: general - galaxies: luminosity function, mass function - methods: observational Description: The tables list the optical and X-rays properties of the RASS-SDSS galaxy clusters catalog. The catalog contains 114 X-ray selected systems in the area observed by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). The X-ray data are taken from the ROSAT All Sky Survey (RASS, IX/10) while the optical data are taken from the SDSS (J/AJ/123/567) archive. File Summary:

Note (1): Schechter luminosity function, φ(M)dM = 0.1ln(10)Ncluφ* x 10^-0.4(M-M*)(alpha-1) x exp(-10-0.4(M-M*)dM where Nclu is the number of cluster galaxies, φ* is the normalization of the Schechter luminosity function. Note (2): The LF luminosity is calculated with the fit based method, while the LC luminosity is calculated with the galaxy number counts.
