Physical parameters of the Algol system BP Muscae from simultaneous analysis of Geneva 7-colour light curves Carrier F., Barblan F., Burki G., Bartholdi P., Nicolet B. <Astron. Astrophys. 398, 1073 (2003)> =2003A&A...398.1073C
ADC_Keywords: Binaries, eclipsing ; Photometry, Geneva Keywords: binaries: eclipsing - stars: fundamental parameters stars: individual: BP Muscae Description: The semi-detached eclipsing binary system BP Muscae has been analysed using the Wilson-Devinney program. The physical and orbital parameters have been determined through a self-consistent simultaneous solution of light curves in seven colours and of the radial velocity curves of both components. The 373 photometric measurements of BP Mus in the 7-colour GENEVA system are listed in the table. P and Q are the weights in colours and V magnitude (see Rufener, 1988, Cat. II/169). Note (1): Photometric weight: 4: observation of exceptional quality whose correlation with standards is remarkably well assured. 3: normal weight for all the good measurements conveniently correlated with standards. 2: weight conferred as soon as the least doubt exists as to the transparency or correlation with standards. 1: weight conferred as soon as no certainty of good transparency and good correlation with standards can be obtained (case of partial night for instance). 0: this weight sanctions all measurement for which an objective risk of error exists.
