Catalogue of 2957 bright stars in declination zones from -10 to +90 degrees. Zimmerman N.V. <Publ. Pulkovo (2), 61, 5 (1948)> =1948TrPul..61....5Z
ADC_Keywords: Meridian observations ; Positional data ; Proper motions Description: This Catalogue was created for geodetical purposes, mainly for the determination of the latitude by Talkott's method. It contains all stars up to 6 vis. mag. from -10 to +90 degrees. It is composed of 1334 "geodetic" stars and 1623 "Pulkovo" stars. The "geodetic" stars were observed on 5 observatories (Pulkovo, GAISH, Kazan, Nikolaev and Tashkent) by differential methods: each star was observed 8 times in the system of "Pulkovo" stars, during years 1934-1939. The Catalogue of 1623 "Pulkovo" Stars was observed in the years approx. 1910-1925 in Pulkovo, Alger, Babelsberg, Washington, Greenwich, Cape, Nicolaev, Paris and Uccle, mainly by absolute methods. There are corrections to FK3 for each star. File Summary:

Historical Notes: * Keypunched at Astronomisches Rechen-Institut (ARI) in Heidelberg, as catalogue number 85 (Veroeff. ARI 16, 19??) * 18-Sep-1995: Transformed numerical spectral class into character, merged left+right-hand pages.
