The light curves are plotted after our data. Their formatting is
due to François Ochsenbein (CDS - Strasbourg Observatory) whom we
thank for his kind help.
Click on the abbreviated name of the constellation then on the
Argelander name of the star.
The light curve displayed for each star is based on the data collected during the last 12 months or the last 5 years or the curve using the whole dataset. Visual observations are plotted in green, mpg, pep(B) and CCD(B) observations in blue, pep(R) or CCD(R) measurements in red and I measurements in black. At the bottom of the page, a panel allows zooming on a selected part of the curve. To that effect, input the date and end of the interval (for instance 50000 and 51000) in the "x cuts" boxes. The amplitude can be reduced by inputting your choice of values for the magnitudes. Lastly, click on "Adapt Plot".
The home page of each variable allows access to the information
contained in the Simbad and VizieR databases. Since the update of the tool, the link to Aladin is dead.
Simbad supplies basic information on the star, its names in different
catalogues as well as bibliographical references.
VizieR reproduces data from the General Catalogue of Variable Stars (GCVS).
